Classes

All the levels of our yoga classes consists of a series of practices that strengthen the body, calm the mind and lead us to experience a more harmonious and balanced state of existence.

They connect us with our heart, and help us recognise our true nature, nature that is free and caring,

full of joy, love and light.

Levels:

Yoga 1 - For anyone just starting yoga and for whomever wants to go "back to basics"

Yoga 1-2 - For beginners, intermediate and advanced students

Yoga 2 - For intermediate and advanced students

All levels include Asnana (physical postures), Pranayama and relaxation at the end of the class.

Types:

Hatha Yoga is the most widely spread type of yoga in the West. It is focused on physical health and mental wellbeing. It uses body postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation (dyana) with an aim to bring about a healthy body and clear and peaceful mind.

Anusara Yoga - is a modern school of yoga that was developed by the yoga teacher John Friend. Anusara had as its base Iyengar yoga, and today it s a school that emphasises body-mind health and awareness as well as emotional, mental and spiritual freedom. It particularly emphasises the principles of alignment that exist in all asanas and are connected with the philosophical side of the practice.

Kundalini Yoga consists of active and passive Kriyas (purifying practices) that are based on asana, pranayama, mantra and meditation that influence the whole mind-body-energy system, including the nervous system, glands, chakras and other.

Vinyasa/flow Yoga: Is a type of yoga with relatively faster rhythm. It is favoured by people who like dynamic practice with plenty of movement.

Meditation

Students sitting in meditation

Going beyond the conditioned thinking perceptions and into deeper calmer states of being. Shifting the way we relate to our thinking processes, especially to the ones that cause us stress and damage our system. Learning to be "the observer" of our emotions and reactions and coming to know our true depths beyond this interplay of the mind.
